Mortgage Rates to Fall??

Blog by Kevin Kurjata | March 15th, 2011

So now it looks like mortgage rates are going to relax a bit. For the past few weeks we've heard a steady beat of "rates will rise". Now, because of the earthquake in Japan, banks have already started to lower rates. This relates to bond spreads, which I won't go into here, mostly because I don't really understand them. Point to be taken here - anyone who tells you they can predict the future is a charlatan. I don't care if he or she is an economist or a finance expert. The world and therefore the markets for everything are totally unpredictable.
